Firstly, let's begin with the parking situation. It's advisable not to use the parking if you have a large car, as the spaces are quite small and there are poles sticking out, which can be stressful to navigate. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hot water system had a blown pipe, affecting the entire building. Initially, there was no water at all, and later, just no hot water. Consequently, we were unable to shower during our stay, which was disappointing considering the lovely pool and hot tub facilities. On a positive note, they do have a small sauna where you can relax afterward, which was a nice touch. Another inconvenience was that the air conditioning systems in all rooms are interconnected with each other. This meant that we couldn't control our heating independently if the other parts of the building had their air conditioners set differently. However, Reception was incredibly helpful in addressing this issue. They promptly offered alternative solutions and even suggested moving us to another room to ensure our comfort, albeit it was a downgrade from our current accommodation. We chose to stay put, and in recognition of the inconvenience, they graciously discounted our stay by 50%. Despite these challenges, the reception staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Their outstanding service truly made a difference, and despite the initial setbacks, we had an overall amazing experience. We would definitely consider returning, solely due to the exceptional service we received.

The body corporate in this building have no idea about maintaining a complex to a high standard. No comphension of the need for a critical spare parts stock or how to manage maintenance and contractors. This building constantly has something out of order and not just for hours, it always take days and weeks to get repaired. A total shipwreck of a building.

Parking to check-in is difficult. I had to park in a commercial space and then have a resident scan me into the elevator. Check in was quick and easy, the guy at reception was lovely and friendly. Only one elevator working so wait times were long. I timed 5 minutes one morning. There is no air circulation in common spaces so the smell of body odour lingered and was often very overpowering it was hard to breathe. Both elevators were broken one morning and I was told I had to take the stairs from the top to the basement. While reception offered to help carry my things, my concern was the fact that I was told by a hotel I had to take 11+ flights of stairs, with a knee injury. This put so much stress on the injury that I was left in pain the rest of the day at work - I recognise these things happen, but this was not a safe or an acceptable option and having two working lifts would have avoided this problem completely. THEN the hotel has the audacity to give us all a passive aggressive letter scolding and lecturing us on elevator behaviour. I’m not a child this is not a frat house - you do not treat a guest like one unless you know I’m the culprit ESPECIALLY after the hotel left me in discomfort all day. My room had graffiti near the door inside the room, lounge room aircon leaked at times and the one bedroom apartments are advertised on website as having a balcony - I didn’t have one… unless I missed the fine print that said it’s not guaranteed. Bathroom is clean but there is mould in the shower and on the roof in the shower. The size of the apartment was a good size and gave me everything I needed for a work week - the room, the steakhouse downstairs and location were the only redeeming factors. I was booked for work and word of mouth is a very positive marketing tool, if the elevator/stair situation didn’t happen I wouldn’t be recommending to colleagues to consider other options. It could have been avoided.

This place is not good value for money. There’s only one elevator as the other one has been out of service for ages. This meant long wait times to go anywhere. During our stay in a heatwave, the pool was closed. We only booked this accommodation for the pool and there was no notice given. If you want overpriced, run down accommodation, in a convenient location, with good service, then go for it. Otherwise, steer clear.
