We used a Red Balloon experience for our stay in Albury. Nice change from the free camping we usually do. Staff were friendly and the room was in good condition. Fantastic breakfast choices. Only draw-back was that I slipped in the shower when stepping onto the non-slip mat. Nice bruise for my efforts.

Really pleasant place to overnight. Extremely comfy mattress and good pillows. Super friendly staff and yummy dinner, simple but good breakfast. Appreciated being able to open window (which had flyscreen). And first regional hotel I've stayed in for ages which didn't have that awful cheap cleaning chemical smell so many have! Unfortunately, the elevator was out of order, but at least bags can be sent up and down in it, so not too bad! Would definitely stay here again when in town.

Enjoyed our stay as a stop over to Melbourne. We were contacted before arrival to advise lift was out of order. Friendly staff. Like the fact that Breakfast isn't a buffet, you order from a menu. Hotel is in an easy walking distance to shops, cafes etc.

Arrived to hotel to check in and lift was out of order which I know they can’t control but a inconvenience when on 3 Rd floor, maybe a offered discount would be nice. room was nice until you looked in draws and found rubbish from previous guest and dust and dead bugs which made us feel like there cleaning standards are not very high, no tea bags and close to empty shampoo and soap, no tissues ect, when the small things are not done how many other things are they not doing properly A hotel information book would be nice so you know what’s offered to guest whilst there They are not the cheapest in Albury so for your money we would expect a higher standard from the Mecure brand On a positive note breakfast was great and was close to our function we attended

I was booked in on a work trip where I was supposed to receive a "Run of the house" experience. The room is not at all like the advertised rooms (I was placed in a room on the second floor, see attached photo of the rooms bathroom and compare to the advertised photos yourself.) The bathroom had no airflow or proper ventilation so when having a hot shower it became worse then a sauna and I found it difficult to breath, after the shower I found the whole room was steamed as I had cracked the door in an attempt to create more airflow but just affected the while hotel room. There was no kettle in the room at first, and thankfully, they did provide me with one after approaching the desk asking for one, although the kettle appeared to have mould inside to my sight. Adding on, I also discovered the rooms mini fridge while stocked, yes, but was no working, so it wasn't worth risking my health seeing if the ling life milk would still be usable.(attached photo of the inside of the kettle) On My first night there a fire alarm went off before 5am but after 4am waking my short sleep after a 14 hour day (not nessarily the hotels fault but) when I came down to the foyer after the alarm went off I was greeted quickly with a "return to your room" attitude and a swift ignore of my concerns. I'm sure it was all fine in the end, but you should always evacuate if the whole hotel alarms go off until advised all is well from the fire chief. Saddly, I will not return to this hotel due to the multiple above-mentioned issues and will swiftly advise my company to avoid booking again.
