a week agoExcellent level of service from the staff, nice big rooms for an unbeatable price. Situated close to everything but still nestled in a quiet pocket where the noises of the city seem to go around you. Definitely would recommend and would stay here again.

a month agoexcellent location, short walk to Darling Harbour as well as to shopping malls. we stayed for one night in a studio and seven nights in one bedroom apartment. One bedroom is clean and spacious with all amenities. Housekeeping did service whenever we requested. Early check-in and late check-out by helpful reception crew. Front office crew including Will and Candella were excellent .

2 months agoThe Mantra on Kent is an excellent choice for a stay. Its proximity to the attractions of Darling Harbour is a definite plus, making it a convenient base for exploration. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness enhance the overall experience, and the availability of a 24-hour reception ensures you're well taken care of. A delightful touch is the complimentary pastries at reception each day, adding a warm and welcoming feel to your stay. Furthermore, the rooms, considering their location and cost, are surprisingly spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of adventure in the city. The Mantra on Kent certainly ticks all the boxes for a great stay in Sydney.

a week agoStaff were fantastic. Location is brilliant within walking distance of shopping harbour etc. Unfortunately there’s a long list of small issues that compound to make it not so comfortable for long term stays (Edit following second visit: most of these aren’t an issue in the executive studio. Lady looking after breakfast was brilliant, makes the best chai latte. Have updated rating based on repeat visit) Slow shuddery lifts Thin walls/ doors No plug sockets near table so have to charge laptop then work on battery Light from oven and corridor affects sleep Very small prep space in kitchen unless you move the microwave (should probably be put away by default) No laundry/ shared laundry unless in bigger room Shower wall was a tad dirty as well as vent Pool and gym are in other mantra around the corner Couldn’t turn the fan off in the bathroom so noise and draft from that Shower head wouldn’t aim away from wall so you had to huddle up to wash Places to hang by the door was a welcome addition and a bread knife which has been missing from others. Not a bad stay but I’ve been more comfortable elsewhere
