Mantra Aqueous Port Douglas

We had stayed at 2 Mantras during our stay in Port Douglas, because this is our first time in the area so we wanted to try out different accommodations. Mantra Aqueous is so much better than Mantra Heritage, for hotels with similar prices and supposed to have the same facilities, there is a very big gap in service! Mantra Aqueous room is properly equipped with a full kitchen (big fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc) and laundry (washer and dryer) perfect for a visit to the beach town. Even without housekeeping services, the hotel provides new towels if you need exchange and top up of amenities. As an Accor member, even without a restaurant on site, the staff has prepared none alcoholic beverages and welcome amenities in the room for our arrival and has acknowledged our membership at check in. David at reception was friendly and helpful with explaining everything we need to know about the property and answer any questions we had! Great values and caring staff who look after you!

My family and I had a wonderful 7 night stay recently at Mantra Aqueous Port Douglas. The Reception Staff were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The 4 pools were the stand-out of this hotel - crystal clear water and always available. The room we had was wonderful with a fully-serviced kitchen and laundry and a spa to unwind after a days' outing. Close to Port Douglas' restaurants and it was only minutes to get take-away from one of the many restaurants and return to eat on the balcony. Definitely will be staying here the next time we're in Port Douglas.

This is a very nice location for family holiday. Rooms are a good size. Ours had a kitchen and decent dining implements. 4 pools to choose from . Close to the action and nice stroll to 4 mile beach.

Other than the location, very disappointing. Rooms are not serviced but priced like they should be. It’s basically an unserviced very small room. Ceiling peeling, vanity cracked, broken shutters & a horrible scrunchy sheet. Downstairs pool room ok but neighbouring hotel has a view down on you. Wouldn’t stay again. Ordinary

Great location and friendly staff. Room size was good and I liked the spa on the balcony. Loved the coffee machine in the room. Lots of space in pool area. Great location as it's right next to the main street. Just a few things need improvement, the hotel was more of 3 star feel rather than 4 stars. If you wanted new bath towels, you needed to request for it, and if you want your room cleaned it's an additional amount. Since prices are similar to resorts in the area, rooms should not cost additional to be cleaned and new towels should be delivered every day. Would stay here again if improvements are made.
