Mantra Frangipani Broome

Have stayed here several times over the past 3 years as we live in the Pilbara and travel to Broome several times a year. The mantra is a beautiful place to stay in Cable Beach. The outdoor showers are a favourite for me, but aside from that I love how small yet quiet the Mantra is. The gardens are beautiful and having the choice between two pools (one almost completely in shade and the other in the sun) is great. Having a self contained place to cook meals and BBQ is also really good and can be hard to find in other accommodation options in Broome. I have noticed the hygiene and house keeping standards appear to have dropped in recent times when I compare it to my previous stays, but hoping that this improves as the Mantra really is a great place to stay otherwise. The housekeeping issues aren’t major (dirty cutlery/plates in the kitchen that need a good wash before use, cobwebs on the ceiling, no cleaners visiting at all during a 7 day stay, etc) but they were noticed as usually the standards at the Mantra are exceptional. Would stay here again.

Great resort. Quiet. Beautiful pool. Amazing rooms. Outdoor shower takes some getting used to, but it is private. Great service and communication before and during stay.

There are lots of accommodation options in the Cable Beach area of Broome, and none are what you would call cheap. The Mantra Frangipani is definitely worth considering if you are heading to this beautiful part of the world. We only dealt with one staff member, who I believe was the manager, but he was friendly and helpful, providing us with some useful information. The rooms at the Mantra are fully self-contained villas with everything you need. They are clean and well-appointed and all necessary facilities are provided. The rooms aren't as big as what you get at the Pearle, but they are considerably cheaper. The living area is large, particularly for two people. The beds are comfy and everything works. There's no breakfast provided at the Mantra, no cafe of any sort in fact, but there is a large pool. Each villa also has a nice deck with a BBQ. The Mantra is a bit of walk from Cable Beach, but there is a bus stop directly outside or you can use the Beam electric scooters that are all over the Cable Beach area. One interesting quirk of the Mantra room is the outdoor shower. We loved it, but I can imagine that it might be a bit challenging for some travellers. Also, the vanity basin, which was indoors, was a bit small, particularly for two people, and tended to splash water around. I would definitely stay here again, and am happy to recommend the Mantra for people who like a bit space in their accommodation and the opportunity to save a bit of money by cooking at home.

I had a delightful two months staying at this lovely resort while working in Broome. The accommodation is spacious and clean and while the shower is outdoors and a little weird at first, you warm up to it quickly and then just love it! The staff are very kind and accommodating and it was just a great experience all around. Thank you all for making working away from home so pleasant - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Very comfortable. Enjoyed the outdoor shower - shared this with a green frog. 2 pools - both warm & refreshing. Nice tidy area. Staff very helpful when I needed to print a document from my laptop. Nothing too much trouble
