a week agoAbove average for a budget hotel. Clean with all necessary amenities. Many fast food restaurants close and groceries within a reasonable walking distance. Both staff I interacted with were polite and helpful. Largest negative was a small amount of noise from other patrons. Overall an efficient and satisfactory establishment.

a month agoWe booked this place knowing that it’s part of the budget series of ibis. However the reality was even worse. Pictures are misleading on the website. There’s literally no space to sit or stand inside the bathroom. I believe the aircraft toilets are bigger than this one. Room’s condition was pitiful. While generally wiped clean, the window and AC unit would have broken down at the slightest wind. Bed sheets were not clean and had red colour stains. No lift access either. So difficult with any sort of luggage. Only plus side was the receptionist was friendly.

2 months agoSatisfactory hotel if you just need somewhere to break a journey. The bed was comfortable however one of the pillows was very flat which made for a restless sleep. Bathroom is very small, akin to a cruise ship cabin. The hotel is located in a good location, close to M1 and with quite a few fast food choices at the doorstep

2 months agoVery affordable but more like a hostel. Many fast food restaurants in walking distance. Reception has limited times of service. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable but the wash basin is in the room and the toilet/shower is a bit like an aeroplane toilet cubicle.

2 months agoWhile at breakfast, staff entered room without permission, and we haven't checked out yet. This had actually happened, which was very unprofessional and still awaiting management to call, and it has been 2 weeks today since we left a message for a call back. Luke or luo, this is very unprofessional for you to not return calls for a proper explanation on why our room was entered and wasn't informed on the day. Adding to the response for below - If this was the case, fire alarm going off why wasn't we notified at breakfast? Or contacted via mobile? Assuring we as clients are ok? For this fire alarm going off, supposedly. As doesn't it trigger the entire building for the safety of everyone? I'll be sure to be contacting you fire provider to question why only 1 room was triggered, when your a large building. I'll be requesting evidence of this room and fire alarm going off. Please send me full evidence of this proof, time and date? which legally has to be documented. I'm not awaiting on the call back my partner is awaiting the return call. So please feel free to contact the person the booking was made under.
