The room is fine, and I’m really happy we could stay with our puppy. They offer puppy bed. However, the hotel doesn’t have its own parking area, which was quite inconvenient for us since we travelled by car. Also, while they offer a breakfast voucher, the breakfast isn’t served at the hotel—you have to go outside to use it.

The hotel is centrally located and offers great convenience for public transport and shopping. I stayed in a superior 1 bedroom and was plenty surprised with the space. The bathroom was clean and offered great amenities. The kitchenette facilities were manageable for my two night stay however the sink is very narrow and tiny which made it difficult to wash up. If staying for a longer period I’d suggest either upgrading to a larger room or looking elsewhere. There is a bar next door that offers well priced food and delicious cocktails.

I recently stayed at Sebel Canberra Civic and had an outstanding experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Canberra, making it easy to explore all the nearby attractions and amenities. The rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, offering a very comfortable stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. While there's no restaurant at the hotel, it's conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and cafes, making dining out a breeze. The on-site facilities are top-notch, including a well-equipped gym and a stylish lounge area. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to shopping centres, restaurants, and cultural landmarks makes it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travellers.Overall, Sebel Canberra Civic exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Canberra.

Because the hotel does not have any parking facilities, it is not feasible to store your vehicle or retrieve your luggage. Ten minutes away from the hotel, they sent me and my two small children to a parking area that was open to the public. When it comes to children, that distance is terrible. I was given a voucher the following day that was good for a $3 reduction on parking at the location where I had kept my car for the entire night. Yes, $3 dollars discount (!) In my opinion, this hotel is not suitable for families with young children or for those who are carrying more than a backpack each. Because there is no need for them to bring anything, this hotel is an excellent choice for backpackers.

The reception staff were lovely and accommodating. The room not very clean and fridge had broken FROZEN bottles of sparking water with glass everywhere not cleaned. No parking and no restaurant. But also no affiliation with the 100+ restaurants located around the hotel that you can order to. Very disappointing
