I stayed here overnight for work while in Cairns, and got a nice upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment. Great view between the buildings to the bay, and close to the local restaurants. Don't be fooled for paying for parking, as there is only about 30 spots inside the hotel, and you have to go out on the street. I'm hoping my car will be there in the morning. Nice enough though, and would be good for families.

This is incredibly well located, on the edge of the centre of Cairns but close to supermarkets, bottle shops, and cafes. Not to mention the many food options catering for any budget. There were a few problems, the main one being the limited guest parking so it's a first come first served basis. We often had to park on the street and dodge the parking rangers. But back to the positives, great service from friendly staff, a terrific pool, and a small but well equipped gym.

A neat and tidy place to stay in Cairns with a great location central to everything. First room certainly had a musky smell to it but on our second stay and different room it was fine.

The ONLY area that doesnt smell like mould is reception. I got there with high expectations considering the price, then walking through a maze of carpark to get to my tower, no dedicated walkways and norrow areas to navigate a suitcase, I get to my room. I thought wow the pungent smell of mould is ripe in this area, I open the door and the smell didnt get any better, as I opened the balcony door hoping to get a wiff of something other than mould, I noticed that the Air Com, Ceiling Fan and humidifier were all blarring at high speed, Thats when I decided to place my bare foot on the carpet..... Sopping WET. I go down to reception and ask surely not all the rooms are like this, How the management thought NO ONE will notice is bewildering. I was then given another room in Tower 1. Thinking great as Reception is here no mould smell, Great... Well thats were my satisfaction died. As I entered the lift again the smell returned, Definatley not as strong as in Tower 2, so I enter my new room which again, was an issue to get to as the room accessed via a key locked Numbered door which to a normal person just looked like a room number, No, No, you had to go theough that to then go through to your locked keyed room. Anyway, this room is tiled so great, but floors stil felt wet under foot, I thought just have a shower, Apart from the disgusting rim of mould and dust which lined the bath edge it took away the last guests pubic hairs left in the shower/bath area. I then hop into bed ready for some shut eye as its been a big day, the glow from the gaps aound the door was a pain, but then I thought The air con qas super loud, so I turned it off, then began my next nightmare. The sound of tick tick tick but imaginge it super fast, and getting louder and louder - I start to think is this a joke! at 11:30pm I go to reception and ask would the staff member escort me back to witness this noise. I ask then do you smell that, Yes they agree the smell isnt pleasant, then I let them witness the noise, Oh well I can look at changing you to another room but otherwise we'll have to speak to someone in the morning. I then on the brink of tears dwcided to pack my bags and find other accommodation at Midnight. Its DISGUSTING. save yourself time and your health. do NOT stay here

Good location, very walkable. Rooms on the other hand, terrible and unbearable moldy smell, can’t get rid of it. The room was clean, very stocked but unfortunately the terrible smell disregards any positive things. Parking is pretty bad, only a couple indoor spots and some are impossible to get in unless you have a tiny two seater. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.
