I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Sebel Yarrawonga, and I can’t speak highly enough about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The highlight of my stay was, without a doubt, the stunning view at sunset. It’s simply to die for! I highly recommend grabbing a glass of wine and heading out to the restaurant deck to watch the sunset over the beautiful lake—it’s a moment of pure tranquility and beauty. The rooms are elegantly styled, combining comfort with a touch of luxury, and they are maintained to an impeccably high standard of cleanliness. Walking around the hotel grounds, I was impressed by how well-maintained everything is, adding to the overall serene and inviting atmosphere. Although I visited during the colder months and didn’t have the opportunity to dive into the swimming pool, I can only imagine how breathtaking the view would be from there. The pool area looks like a fantastic spot for entertaining and relaxing during the warmer seasons. Overall, The Sebel Yarrawonga exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would not hesitate to return. It’s a gem of a hotel, offering both relaxation and a touch of luxury. Five stars all the way!

We recently stayed at the Sebel for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing but unfortunately constantly understaffed for breakfast, afternoon drinks and dinner service (meals took over an hour which was acknowledged a complimentary drink would have been appreciated) felt sorry for the staff member attempting breakfast service alone. The meals were just okay nothing outstanding. Tried to book a massage but was closed for renovations perhaps an in room massage service to make up for this? The rooms were nice but didn’t have robe or slippers which is favorite part of hotel life. Location was lovely, seamless organisation for golf which hubby loved. Wouldn’t rush back but so much potential.

I just wanted to leave a quick review as I stayed here on the weekend - a few pros & cons Pros - beautiful location, very friendly staff Cons - the room we had really wasn’t worth what we paid for, yes it was lovely but it needed a repaint.. lots of scuffs and dings. Further on the room we were expecting robes as there are slippers, none were provided. For the price I would have expected that, considering they would do the spa laundry with robes. Speaking of spa they were booked out - that’s okay but there wasn’t a public spa for relaxing, because it was a cold weekend a spa would have been nice as the pool was unusable. We went the restaurant and that food was okay. They seemed understaffed and we didn’t receive a drink we ordered and had to cancel it. I also think they need to offer room service for breakfast. Thanks for having us but we won’t return. Cheers.

The food was fantastic and the hospitality staff in restaurant were great. For the price the room was definitely lacking. It looks nice but a couple cheap packs of coffee and sugars (2 per person) no little extras like biscuits or even a coffee pod machine. Wouldn't recommend garden room as you can't open the curtains if you don't want anyone walking on the path to see you. There are plenty of places cheaper or similar prices that include more in the room.

Spent 2 nights in this beautiful place. Was such a lovely experience in all ways. Had cocktails whith were lovely and had dinner here which was cooked to perfection. Staff in the bar were particularly good. Nothing was to difficult and they were very friendly. Also a special mention to the ladies that gave us a massage . It was absolutely beautiful. Something certainly worth spending the extra on . Was definitely a highlight of our stay. Rooms were spotless. Outdoors was well presented and everything was so tidy. Would highly recommend.
