A hotel with reasonable price and high value: 1. The room is clean and organized, providing the basic supplies that I need. Unfortunately, it lacks good soundproofing, so I can hear sounds from the corridor clearly. 2. The service is awesome. All the staff, including receptionists, housekeepers, and buffet staff, are friendly and helpful. 3. The buffet is normal and somewhat boring. The hotel provides the same meal every day. The flavor is not bad, but there could be better choices available in Melbourne. 4. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The Ibis Hotel is close to Victoria Market and downtown. There are many supermarkets, cosmetics shops, department stores, and restaurants nearby. You can access everything you need on foot and through the free tram zone. 5. The price is great.

Functional and clean in a great location. I'd recommend Ibis but bring your own shampoo/conditioner since they only have 3-in-1. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast.

Great place to stay for the location, staff were friendly and very helpful, room was cramped for 3 people and basic amenities, but we only required a safe place to sleep. Didn’t appreciate being woken up by a false smoke alarm and having to evacuate, due to someone burning food in the microwave. (better safe than sorry)

Fantastic location with great access to markets, eateries and trams. Small walk to park with great facilities for youngsters. Clean and tidy rooms, serviced daily. Breakfast was delicious at the in-house restaurant. A great way to start each day. Very friendly housekeeping and wait staff.

I have now stayed a few times over a few years so I can be close to the Melbourne Magic Festival venue. First time having a higher level and larger bedroom which was great! Spend more time in room due to health issue but was great with good bed, heating , tv and mini kitchen (a full size fridge needs to replace the mini fridge thou as limits cooking).
