Absolutely loved our stay! All of the staff were so friendly and lovely! The rooms are beautifully renovated and the pool is great. Heaps of parking which made it easy for us towing a boat. My only suggestion would be an extra panel of block out curtains as the two didn’t quite cover the window. Can’t wait to stay again one day!

A lovely stay. Everything was clean and the pool area is beautiful, the Barista was super friendly & gave us great advice. Breakfast was delicious. Location is good if you don't mind the walk to Airlie beach (around 40 minutes). It's a beautiful walk. Taxis to the city arrive very quickly and are like $11. Only thing I would change is the pool should be heated so people can enjoy it in winter & the spa should be hotter.

Very happy with our room, modern & stylish. Very comfy bed, good shower. Hotel location is on main road between Cannonvale & Airlie Beach, 30-40 min walk along waterfront to AB shops, very picturesque. Mantra has a restaurant & bar near lagoon pool, quite good but limited menu. Happy Hour 4pm-6pm. Excellent laundry room $8 to wash & dry. Gym room. Staff are friendly & helpful. Excellent value.

My husband, myself and our toddler son stayed at Mantra Club Croc for 3 nights over the weekend. I’ll firstly start off with our highlights of our trip, as we genuinely loved our experience here. Jude from the restaurant was an absolute gem, she shines so bright everyday, and welcomed us with open arms and attended to all the guests needs. She is a powerhouse at hospitality, given that my husband and I come from hospitality, it is something we highly value. We would stay again purely for the breakfast experience. There was a young man that was working with her in the mornings, I’m not sure of his name, but he seemed very bubbly and happy to be there. The pool & spa bath were so much fun for us, extremely child friendly, our son had the best time ever, days 1&2 were nice and sunny so we enjoyed the big pool, however day 3 was raining & quite cold, but couldn’t keep a 2 year old in the room long enough so we sat in the spa for a bit, it was so enjoyable in the rain still. 10/10 for the pool area. All cleaning staff were friendly and gave our son high fives every time they saw him, small things like that make our experience just that little extra special. We enjoyed the grassy area on level 1 where our room was, it was a nice space to play and let our son adventure around, all in all the whole place felt very safe. Sorry but there are some negatives, nothing that was a make or break for us, but it was something we thought about. The gentleman on dinner service in the restaurant was quite rude, we didn’t take too nicely to his mannerisms. He seemed to have changed his attitude a bit by our last day, but regardless, first impressions of him were not nice. He made us feel like we weren’t welcome for dinner and we just wanted to get out and back to our room to be frank. We spent our whole dinner talking about how rude he was to us, rather than having a fun conversation as a family while on holiday. It didn’t spoil the taste and quality of our food though, compliments to the chef. The rooms were enough, however I would suggest microwaves as we needed to heat our toddlers bottles for bedtime and needed to leave his bottle of milk inside the kettle full of hot water to heat it up. We couldn’t really get up and go to the reception or restaurant to ask as sometimes he wakes in the middle of the night and no way am I venturing out in PJ’s. I would also suggest maybe a sharp knife or some additional utensils for the rooms. We brought some snacks for our son with us and so many times we couldn’t cut things up or feed him with a fork in the room. I used a teaspoon to cute an avocado to make him some avo and crackers to snack on. Nothing wrong with the location other than crossing the main road by foot was an absolute nightmare with a pram. That’s all. All in all, we had a splendid time and we would definitely recommend staying here if you have a family. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
