in the last weekFirst and foremost, Pat the duty manager was incredibly amazing in making our stay perfect! She is definitely a gem. The hotel is so much and all staff are so friendly from entering into the hotel, you would feel special already. The pool is stunning with the darling harbour view. The location is fantastic and close to everything. Wifi is so fast and the breakfast has lots of options. Highly recommend and will definitely come back here again and again. Thanks so much to all the staff at the Sofitel Darling Harbour.

2 weeks agoI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two nights, and it was truly a delightful experience. The service provided was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The room was very clean. However, one minor drawback was that the window glass, particularly from the outside, appeared to be somewhat dirty. The highlight of my stay, however, was the breathtaking view of Darling Harbour from my room. Waking up to such a mesmerizing sight each morning added an extra layer of enjoyment to my trip.

a week agoWe were upgraded the second night after much debate. Not to a corner room as told we could be still a lovely floor with view. The noise however from the construction in front of the hotel was consistent - all week and weekend - from 6am until the evening. If you were on a lower floor good luck it was loud and constant. Love this hotel, love the Darling Harbour view, the ONLY reason I stay here. Naomi in the lounge was AMAZING and really attentive. Love the restaurant and Champagne bar too - lobster roll is to die for. Great stay but be aware if you are a light sleeper not for you - for at least 5 years we were told.

a week agoWell located hotel, but check-in experience was average - simply serving the line. The occasional “Bonjour” thrown in did no enhance the service too much. Rooms were nice but the age of the hotel starts to show. I would rate the stay an average 5-star experience without too many memorable moments.

a month agoNestled at the heart of Sydney's vibrant Darling Harbour, the Sofitel is a true gem of luxury and French elegance. From the moment I stepped into the opulent lobby, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth. The impeccable service here is truly remarkable. The staff's attention to detail and genuine hospitality made me feel like a valued guest from the very beginning. Whether it was a warm greeting at the door or the thoughtful recommendations for exploring the city, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. The rooms are a sanctuary of comfort and style, with breathtaking views of the harbour or the city skyline. The only thing I wished they had, was hair straighteners in the rooms. Apart from that, it was a fabulous stay in Sydney!
