    Staff are outstanding. Location is very convenient. Rooms are very old, tired and in desperate need of a refit - the bed was amazing as was the cleanliness but the old and tiered nature of the rooms lets the place down significantly. Was quite surprised as wherever I go Novotel is always a certain standard. It was clean, staff were exceptional including and especially reception and housekeeping.

    The F&B team lacks customer service and additional charges need to be displayed. When went for breakfast the Supervisor did not even bother locating myself a ready table. Again when requested for a cheese omelette I was asked to pay extra even after paid for a full buffet and this additional charge is not displayed anywhere. I parked my car at hotel parking and I have to ask for an exit ticket which should have been provided by reception at checkout.

    My wife and I loved the pool, spa and sauna, as well as the corner room, so much natural light. We are likely to be back in Canberra same time next year so we are likely coming back. Feedback/complaint. I did not remember that Easter is a black out for the restaurant benefits with my membership. I checked with the staff at check-in about breakfast, but they said it was included. They did not say anything about the blackout. If we had known we would not have eaten breakfast there or dinner. Dinner was very average as a note. It would be good to get information about the parking on the first night too. It is bad enough to have to ask to avoid paying $16 each time you come in and out. Also bad you don't have enough spots for each guest... I would have given this less if not for the other factors.

    Excellent service overall. The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was so lovely and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Location was awesome. So close to shops and cafes. The pool was lovely and clean Would 100% recommend!

    I stayed here over the weekend, the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Great location, the room was spacious and extremely clean and tidy it was also quiet. Very comfortable bed and the breakfast was amazing. Will be returning in future
