My daughter and I enjoyed a 2 night stay with breakfast both mornings. Great to have breakfast as it prepares us for the rest of the day. Our room was small but quiet. The toilet seat needs re-seating as it was off kilter but stable.

All good but can mention a couple of items. There was an unexpected surcharge for paying by credit card. Maybe the website gives the option of eftpos without the surcharge but I did not notice it. The room was well ventilated but I could not discover where the fresh air came in or where air was sucked out of the room. Very good that we did not experience any noise or drafts. Trivial concern but counter staff could not give an answer. Would have preferred undercover parking but perhaps would not accept the extra charge which would be required if this option were available. Excellent breakfast at reasonable cost. We will be happy to stay at the Ibis Thornleigh next time we're in Sydney

The beds were a little short with the headboard positioned inconveniently so kept hitting my head on it sleeping. There was no power point next to the bed so charging the phone overnight was frustrating as the phone was then out of reach. The hot breakfast inclusion was decent with expected fare. Water pressure in the shower was average at best but the room was quiet and allowing restful sleep. Convenient location with a McDonald's very close as well as supermarket. For the price, the accommodation is better than average.

the location is good but the room on level 1 we were given was in need of thorough clean. We even changed room but it was as bad. Curtain was dirty, floors had mould along edges and walls were covered in scuff marks.

I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door on arrival. Patrick & his team have made the hotel a warm, cosy environment, with nothing too much trouble for them. I have been staying on a semi-regular basis for the past 12 years & I keep coming back!
