a month agoNice and tidy on day one! No room service for the 5 days we stayed. So we accumulated a decent amount of garbage in the bathroom. The first night we got there late. We called multiple times "room service". No answer. So I walked down (you actually walk around the building) and ordered some pizzas and wine. The irony? We have still been charged for room service. Dishonesty is the best policy (for not returning)!

2 months agoVery spacious rooms with a small kitchenette. Clean and very well prepared, including smart TV, USB connectors, bathroom accessories etc. 25$per day parking, it was full when we arrived. Good cafe with few options.

4 months agoStayed a week. Great central location. Comfy rooms and lovely massaging shower with decent pressure (yay). Cafe on ground floor made great coffee & even better breakfasts. Only negative was the slow lifts, otherwise a really great spot.

4 weeks agoNot overly impressed. Rooms are spacious and clean, but TV did display Foxtel at all and there was a loud noise the whole night, not coming from the fridge or AC

5 months agoOakes didn’t meet my expectations, they were more about money than making their guests feel comfortable.. they were extra charges when checking in and they don’t have necessities provided in the room like sugar, water or even a dental kit everything had to be purchased separately. Not going to recommend this to any of my friends or family. Poor customer service just to save the $$$
