3 months agoWe stayed in one of the newly renovated one bedroom water view rooms. I didn't like the layout of the bathroom but it did work. The view across the bay to Morton Island was nice and the walk along the foreshore to the main street of town (with the restaurants) was very nice. The reception and housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful.

2 weeks agoRooms with an ocean view are fantastic. Location is great- central to many attractions. Restaurant and bar on site as well as parking which is no extra cost.

3 weeks agoNice place, well fitted out, but no room service at all. So as a hotel it sucks to not be able to order food on a Sunday night at 830pm . This place is not a hotel, it’s more like an Air BNB that gives a place to stay central to Redcliff without them providing any extra services! So make sure you have your food sorted before you get here as this organisation just wants your money without working for it. I won’t come again. We ran a wedding function here and the accommodation and the party seemed to be run by two different companies, so achieving any cohesions for our proposed activities during the wedding was useless as both entities don’t talk to each other and they didn’t seem to care that you where running a wedding here, so don’t do it here. The team at the Mon Komo bar venue where great, but achieving synergy with the accomodation component did not compliment our wedding party, it actually dampened the feeling and atmosphere. I’m not happy with the overall result. Do not plan a function and stay here, it’s not worth it. Do not try to combine your functions with your accomodation. There is no advantage doing both here as the left arm doesn’t talk the right arm. Cheers Nick

2 months agoI recently dropped off a resident of the complex who had just returned from hospital. When I asked the receptionist for a spare key to his apartment because he had lost his key at the hospital she obliged and provided a spare which was great. I was shocked however, when I asked her to assist with getting his belongings up to his unit that she informed me that it wasn't in her job description and she was not authorised to assist. When I enquired as to why she couldn't help a feeble old man to get to his apartment with his belongings she told me that she had been specifically instructed by her management to not assist him as he had left the hospital of his own free will. Apparently the man had been harassing staff. Notwithstanding, this was a feeble old man with a medical condition that needed help. Just from a basic humanity perspective, whatever the extenuating circumstances, this is very poor form from the management of Mon Komo. Shame on you Mon Komo. I was considering a future wedding reception at your establishment. You will never get my business again after this for your lack of compassion, irrespective of your reasoning. Have a good hard look at yourselves Management!!!
