3 months agoStayed at the Oaks a few times when we've had things on at Hamer Hall, it's a really good place to stay, and super close to the shows. Last time we took Tessa's mum, so we've stayed in single and double rooms. Overall the rooms are very neat and tidy. Basic, but good basic. Last time we were there some of the hallways had cardboard over the floors, so I think some of the floors are having renovations. But other than that everything was very good. Cheap, central, easy. Thanks!

5 months agoAmazing place to stay. Front desk staff have been amazing and so friendly and helpful. We've been staying here at short notice with constantly changing plans due to dire family circumstances, and the staff couldn't do more to help. The rooms are clean, the beds are so comfortable. The ability to be able to cook some of our meals is great. The location is so close to everything.

6 months agoStayed here for two nights at the end of March. Lobby was neat and tidy, staff were helpful and very friendly. Room was clean and tidy, offering a reasonable size TV, separate bedroom, full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Air conditioner was a little noisy but fully functional, and closing the door from the bedroom helped substantially. Very convenient location, being a comfortable walking distance from plenty of essential services and recreational activities. Very reasonably priced considering the location and quality of the room. Overall a fantastic experience and would definitely go back next time I'm in Melbourne.

2 months agoStayed at Oaks Wrap for one night on the weekend for my mums birthday, and we LOVED it. We got a room upgraded and a complimentary bottle of wine with chocolates. Not to mention the amazing city views, clean room and great reception staff.

a month agoOverall, pretty poor experience and we were charged a premium for the experience. The wifi was awful (two people could barely browse the internet at once), hot water was intermittent, walls were marked, carpets were stained, furniture was damaged or unstable, and kitchen and bathroom were poorly stocked. The staff were friendly whenever we interacted. The location was nearby a lot of landmarks and the pedestrian bridge, making it easy to get to the CBD.
