Rooms are large, clean and serviceable if dated and a bit tired. Couldn't get the washer/dryer to work but could just be me. Only one lift working for a 28 storey building. Service schedule didn't happen as advertised but did happen. Good location for theatres, Chinatown, Lygon St.

Terrible value at $450/night. It was dirty, smelly, there was broken glass on the floor (my friend stepped on it) and one of the lifts weren’t working. We went out and came back at 11pm. The other lift was out of order. We were staying on level 22. We’d been to a concert and drinking and we didn’t have the energy to walk up 22 flights of stairs. We didn’t get to our room until after 1am. I asked about compensation and was told the manager would call during the week. I was called and offered 25% off my next stay as compensation. The woman told me it wasn’t their fault both lifts were broken. I said that was not acceptable and felt more like a scam than compensation. She said she would go back to management. I got a voicemail telling me to email a detailed account of what happened. It’s disgusting avoidance tactics and I will never be back.

I stayed here in 2020 and it was a great location for Cursed Child. Again that year and got a sky high. View was awesome, room not too bad. Stayed again recently 2023, another sky-high. Room was so disappointing, carpets were so worn and dirty, furniture needs replaced. It was not a nice room. Lobby is dated, lift terrifying to ride. It's really in need of a makeover. If furniture carpets were replaced and walls painted, it would look great. Sadly won't be staying again. Too expensive for a room that disappointing.

Stayed here over the weekend. Room was a little dated. The bed was amazing. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work .. It was a very windy weekend in Melbourne, so lots of “ghost” sounds, but couldn’t hear them in the bedroom.. would happily stay there again
