in the last weekLoved staying here, attentive responsive staff and an apartment hotel, that you can cook in. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were quite. Location excellent short walk to the river and convention Centre and Spencer St. Station.

a week agoThis is a weird joint. The bathrooms are a glass walled afterthought, with shower curtains (I thought these were extinct) and a sink smaller than a plane bathroom. My shower leaked into the room. I was comfortably able to walk under the kitchen cupboards and I am 6 foot 2. I have no idea what they are for. Staff are helpful, and good location esp Cafe next door. Just weird.

a week agoSo the first night we got in the room was substandard at best. It was smelly, and it's cleanliness was poor. The second night was a much better room. Although it had a few minor maintenance issues it was quite ok. I see they are working to update this hotel, hopefully it goes well for them. In the meantime, there are many hotels in the cbd area at similar price points to consider. The customer service at the front desk was good,

in the last weekPeople on reception smell like sweat. Terrible first impression. The rooms are spacious but outdated. Toilet is too close to the bed - only thin glass between them. Not ideal if you are staying with someone. Forced ventilation is non existent. Hallways are not being cleaned properly. If you are as lucky as me to get a room in the back, prepare to loud noise of AC outside blocks. I would not stay here again.

a week agoWell below standard for a hotel of this type. Stained sheets, very thin and worn towels, no welcome from staff who seemed to be busy just looking busy. On checkout, I was lucky if he looked up! Had to lug our suitcases up two flights of stairs as the lift stops at the 18th floor. We were on the 19th floor. Concierge was too busy on the phone to help with the cases. Never going back here. Atrocious !
