a month agoRooms are fairly standard but that's all I was after. They were clean and tidy. The shower had great water pressure. TV was big and had plenty of channels. I would stay again if I was in the area..

5 months agoWhat a lovely place to stop for lunch! From the polite service to the wonderfully cooked meals there was nothing I could fault. The staff went over and above my expectations and catered to my keto carnivore style way of eating. Expert cooks! Meat cooked just how I asked for it, well priced food without a doubt and portions as expected. Clean kitchen and ammenities, great surroundings, clean throughout and a nice large parking area. Such a wonderful experience and I would not hesitate to drop in again (which I will for sure) the next time I’m passing by. Wonderful, thank you to all the staff there that made my lunchtime, a great time!

3 months ago3 of us stayed at The Oaks during a work shoot in Calderwood (10 min drive) the room provided was the family unit. 2 bedrooms (1 Queen + 2 Singles). It was HUGE ... Large kitchen, big lounge/dining, private courtyard. VERY short walk to Hotel that served a GREAT meal. No hesitation in recommending a stay here.

3 weeks agoHad lunch here today with friends, pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, cooked well, and well presented. Quite a crowd in as well, always a good indicator.
