Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel

The place was beautiful. When we arrived it was quiet busy, we were greeted by a worker I think it was Mark such a calm, kind and helpful team member going above and beyond our expectations and greeted us with exceptional service and a beautiful smile, an absolute asset to the company! Absolutely made our stay a memorable one. Will definitely return if near the area. Place was clean had everything we needed and was beautiful and quiet. Thank you for having us! ❤️

Oaks Grand continues to be my preferred hotel choice in Gladstone. I travel here on average twice a year for work and always seek to stay here before anywhere else. The hotel is always neat and presents beautifully. The rooms have always been clean and tidy, and well maintained. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and it really pleases me that I don’t ever see any hint of things like mould in bathroom tile grout, or suitcase height damage to walls that has been “good enough” repaired. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist. There’s direct undercover access to a pub and two restaurants from level 2, and free secure undercover parking included with the room booking. Complimentary wifi is more than fine for general tasks and even streaming 1080p video. I think my only gripe would be that I would really appreciate a couple of complimentary 600ml bottles of water in the room. It’s such a small gesture and considering the cost of 24 packs of bottled water at the supermarket I’m sure the cost involved in this could be easily absorbed on a larger bulk purchase scale.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at this hotel. After a business trip, we needed an invoice with a few additional details (six words, to be exact) in order to process the payment with our company. We provided this information to the employee at the desk and were assured we would receive the correct invoice. However, after contacting the hotel multiple times, they kept sending the same incorrect invoice, and I am still unable to process my payment. I feel this is not the right treatment towards a guest!

Fantastic stopover! Great reception experience, too. Our room was spacious, stylish, and clean. Beds super comfy!

By far the best accommodation we stayed in on our North Queensland trip. We stayed twice in two weeks. Both times staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless clean and perfect for both of our overnight stays. Highly recommend.
