Oaks Cairns Hotel

Location is good for restaurants in the area plus renter car company Comet is a few doors down and offer free parking next door. Great deal when hotel has no car parks and offer the exact same car park next door for $10.00 per day. Room service is not Consistent. I feel if room service is offered I feel it should be done. Rooftop bar is nothing like the photos. Looks very old and tired. Hotel has one elevator so you spend a lot of time waiting. Everything just seemed cheap. Oh, and if you need extra coffee pods you have to pay for them. Even if you stay 5 days.

We had an amazing experience during our stay! Perfect location central to everything including the Night Markets and a short walk to Cairns Central. The restaurant view overlooking the esplanade was amazing, not to mention the friendly staff and tasteful menu. Rooms were comfortable, spacious and well kept. Highly recommend!

5 star all the way at Oaks Cairns Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were amazing. I particularly liked the balcony area to sit and watch over the lagoon and all the tourists. A special mention to the rooftop restaurant and wonderful staff. The meals were wonderful and we loved being spoilt by Luna and the other wait staff. Thank you all for a very enjoyable holiday.

Arrived only to find our booking had been cancelled. Thankfully our travel agent helped sort things out but wasn’t a great start to our holiday. While the location was great, don’t bother if you have a car (parking is extra). Our room was immediately behind reception so quite noisy eg was woken at 4.30am by loud chatter and laughing. Bed was really comfortable though!

Perfect location (close to everything), affordable, clean and has almost everything you need. Would be a great addition if they added a gym facility. We were less than 10 minutes from all of our tours, restaurants and bars. 2 minute walk to the lagoon which is great for a cool down.
