a month agoThe resort has the most beautiful gardens and beautiful pools throughout. Lots of mini pools and BBQs near units. This is very much a self contained accommodation. Our booking said room service and bar. There is no room service and there is nowhere to get snacks or drinks throughout the day. This is the main downfall of this accommodation. I wouldn't return to the Oaks based on this , unless they got a pool bar. It's an easy fix and would make this resort a game changer. I don't say this as someone who drinks, as I don't, was just frustrating having to walk seven minutes or to other resorts to get food and beverages. The two Asian ladies at reception were super lovely, friendly and helpful. Overall beautiful gardens and stunning pool, average but fine rooms, decent location about ten minute walk to cable beach.

a month agoUnfortunately our stay was disappointing and I do not recommend. Rooms are run down, mouldy/dirty bathrooms. The biggest downfall was no pool bar/restaurant or anywhere to get food or drink during the day. A long walk or expensive taxi to the nearest general store. I would advise a car if staying here. They blame no staff but from reading previous reviews it seems the bar has been closed for a while now. Zero vibe around the pool which is such a shame as it’s a huge pool and has so much potential. Personally next time I would spend extra and stay at cable beach club which is closer to the beach and has more facilities.

3 months agoGreat location and facilities. Good service from management after a mix up on arrival with room booked. Rachel quickly attended our problem with empathy and for our troubles upgraded us to a pool side room Room service good, clean and tidy. Swimming pools well maintained with beautiful gardens. Would definitely recommend

a month agoRooms are ok, more budget motel than resort. Pools/grounds are nice but pools locked up at 6pm?!?! Food at the restaurant is truly awful and drinks eye wateringly expensive. This place is fine if you plan ahead and either prepare your own meals or go elsewhere to eat.

a month agoGreat room and swimming pools. Good fans and aircon. Acceptable bathroom toilet. Nice balcony. In need of some repairs and maintenance. Bit far from the beach.
