a week agoHad a lovely stay at the Sofitel Wentworth for four nights. The room was clean, and spacious enough for our stay. All the toiletries etc. were well stocked. Very quiet at night, love the black-out curtains. Had some nice drinks with family in Soiree bar. Did not eat in the Garden Court restaurant so cannot comment on this. Overall a really nice stay.

a month agoGreat hotel with clean rooms in a convenient location. The only issue we had was that there was a bit of traffic / waiting around for the elevator each morning, but we just took the stairs after a few minutes. I believe this was a result of some maintenance upgrades to the elevators, which probably could have been better scheduled outside of peak times. Otherwise, everything was amazing. Hopefully this is all fixed now!

a month agoStayed over a busy long weekend but aside from some delays with the lifts everything went smoothly. Only received an upgrade to a slightly higher floor but this was understandable give the high occupancy. Did not receive an amenity (outside of the welcome drinks) but again understood it was busy and l was awarded points as is an option as a result once informing staff. Lounge was lovely and staff attentive and ate in Soiree which also was lovely. Was an enjoyable stay.

a week agoLifts that don’t work - waiting time +15minutes around 8am every day. Why can you not resolve this ongoing inconvenience? I managed to use the stairs to get down from level 9, resulting in me wondering around the car park, but some major improvement is required. Breakfast seating takes around the same time - no reason for it except inefficiencies. Getting a cup of coffee while it’s still luke warm is the next challenge. This was not my choice of accommodation and nothing I would recommend for business or pleasure

a week agoThey had their lift out of action sign out and had 2 lifts for 17 floors. The lifts stopped all floors. Took 15mins to leave the hotel in the morning. Bed was really poor, with springs too soft and sheets not cotton. The polyester sheets made you sweat at night. Good location.
