Staff were very accommodating and friendly and did well to ensure we had all we needed especially during the time of major renovations at this hotel. The only thing that was a little annoying was the length of time you had to wait for the 1 elevator to arrive would have been good to have at least 2 of the 4 elevators operating. The buffet breakfast was unreal, so much to choose from and even good number gf options. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was smallish but had all that we needed. Had a lovely welcoming gift on arrival of some in house petite pastries. Would return to this establishment if even in Sydney.

I had an amazing experience from the check-in to the check-out. The concierge (Ricardo) was absolutely amazing, with how he treated us, and took care of our special requests. We were also assisted with getting a taxi and having our luggage brought down as we left. We had a lovely room with a soft and comfortable bed. We did have a bit of an issue with an order or ice and some water, that never showed up to our room, but it was not a huge issue.

Good: Great service Nice welcome note (although addressed to the wrong person!) Spacious room with a lovely reading chair (nice touch!) Wireless phone charger - very helpful. Not so good: Dated room, old TV with standard channels Sparse minibar (milk and water) Lots of street noise

The room was ok. Aged, the sink didn't drain. We were meant to have sofitel club access with the room but then told we had to pay for the very average looking canapes. All this even though I am Accor plus member as well. Wasn't aware of the renovations when booking, that would have been nice to know. And upon entry to the car park the sign says $40 for overnight parking which would have suited us fine. But were charged $70 as a guest? Is that mean to be a good deal?

We were upgraded to a prestige suite which is so appreciated. Last stay was opposite to this. This time, checkin was seamless. The gift amenities were pleasing with the wine and decadent chocolates. Being a diamond member is recognised well at this hotel and we are so excited to see what renovations are coming. The staff in the Executive lounge are wonderful and we were looked after extremely well.
