a month agoI found the hotel to be in a great location for my event at the showground. The property was nicely presented however i believe the rooms are in need of updating. The staff was pleasant and helpful however the food quality was lacking and facilities of lobby bar/restaurant closed to early. You would think this hotel would realize its customers are staying here as they obviously have something on and need these facilities to operate around event times.

in the last weekThe hotel is well located but it seems like it hasn't had any update since it was built. The carpets in the room are out dated and need replacement. The bathroom fixtures like shower heads and taps are old and worn out. The front desk staff is helpful.

2 months agoI was a little disappointed, as I have stayed in many hotels. Firstly the high parking charge was not disclosed on my arrival. I thought it was a bit rich in comparisons to other hotel chains. Secondly, I didn’t find the reception staff when calling down to order room service, very friendly nor were they very speedy in the order process. I was impressed with the comfortable beds & the young man who delivered our room service. The meals for main & dessert were beautiful & well worth the price. Don’t put them up they are just right. It would be 50/50 chance that I would stay at the Novotel again.

2 months agoRooms were comfy and well equipped. Awesome views! Staff were helpful and very professional. Eggs at brekkie had a slightly odd texture, but otherwise delicious food & coffee. I would stay again for sure.

3 weeks agoCall to book in, secured the room and price when I went to check in they told me I have had a complimentary upgrade as there was a mistake with the bookings. She forgot to mention that complimentary upgrade would also be charged even though that's not what I asked for. I think it is so wrong a company can charge such a huge amount without asking the customer first. That was easily an extra $100+ over my original booking.
