Our stay at the Mercure Portsea was effortless: from making the online booking; check in at reception; and an early self check out. We stayed in a Superior Room with a view of the golf course and its own private balcony. Bathroom was well laid out with a piping hot shower. Comfortable bed and pillows ensured we had a relaxing sleep and awoke fully recharged. The hotel is located in close proximity to many coastal walks. There is generous open parking and an elevator to assist with transferring luggage from entrance to accommodation levels. We would not hesitate in staying at the Mercure Portsea next time we visit the Peninsula.

It was a pleasant short stay. The view from the room balcony as fantastic. Other than that, there was really nothing much to rave about. The room amenities provided was basic, we even had to request for room slippers. There was no bathrobe either. What was really disappointing was breakfast was not even complimentary as it should have been for Platinum member. Due to the miscommunications and not a fault of the hotel staff, I agreed to settling 50% of the breakfast bill.

We were given an unexpected room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very nice and the view was lovely. The only slight downside was the access to our parked vehicle which was not very convenient and required walking up and down a steep driveway. Thankfully it wasn’t a wet day.

Stayed over 2 nights Was happy to get a room upgrade and it was clean and lovley inside We did get woken up to 2 large Huntsman running across the roof and def kept us up all night and not the getaway from the kids What was most disappointing was the response from the front desk. We are in the bush , so kinda expect it Def won't be back and a late 10am checkout ended up being a dash out the door at 8am Room 4/5 but customer care is a big fat 0 And to think we were told to look in the room for repelant I would have loved to have given an amazing review , but really need to improve be your customer satisfaction skills Weekend away with no kids ended up in a sleepless night and very ave feeling driving home

Lovely Hotel with a nice outlook over the golf course, friendly staff. Only downside is no dinner service at the hotel.
