a year agoI checked in here for the first in three years. One of my favourite hotels. Oh how times change!! No longer a smile and a friendly welcome, instead a sour cold expressionless look. I thought, "wow is this AI? Before I could question my own thoughts I was interrupted, with a blunt, "your credit card, normally I ask for $200/room, today it will be $100". I said, " the rooms are actually a group and have all been prepaid." Again in a very matter fact, no feelings attached, clinical language, "a credit card." I replied, Oh in all the times I have been here I have never been asked before...my look of surprise was broken by a death stare, " do you want to stay or not?

7 months agoLaundry was a real hassle. Went down with card to reception…..unable to use card to get change for the machines. Hubby went down with cash to get change….ran out of coins He then had to go to night owl for change. Unacceptable..

a year agoWe stayed there a couple of years ago. It was a lovely hotel, close to every thing & the reception staff were friendly & helpful. The views from our balcony were fantastic.

4 years agoIt's alright, a bit worried about it being a asaian bus terminal in their lobby...This is the oldest Mantra or building the mantra ownes..becareful about the wifi theiving...other that I very nice place, sauna, gym, steam room, when it is going...Spa, swimming pool, private car park. 2 restraunts 1 takes the accor plus. The other does'nt. The restraunt outfront is a chinese, called the legends chinese seafood Restraunt. I beieve it has goud reviews. A few streets down from Caville Avenue, the beach is only 100 metre down street. Surf life saving, would be about 500 metres, and the 1st surf life saving tower would be no.34 and it would about 750 metres away..So far Nicer place to stay the the sofitel at broadbeach, where you rooms get searched and robbed on a regular basis. It might b 1 star better. BUT NO SECURITY...Terrible for the coast.
