My husband and I had a 2 night stay last week, one of many in recent years. This was our first time dining in their new restaurant, Tempo. It has been completely refurbished and looks amazing with a fresh, modern look. The food was great with generous portion sizes, and the breakfast buffet remained, which was fantastic. The staff overall, particularly Mandy and her team at the front desk, were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. A special shout out to Matt, the Restaurant Manager, and his team, especially Phoebe, Molly and Celtic who looked after us so very well in the restaurant. The location of course is the icing on the cake. Water views a plenty. Another very enjoyable stay! Sam & Kathy Tartaglia

We spent two nights for a couples retreat and we were thoroughly impressed. The location was stunning, and we especially enjoyed the view from the seventh floor. There were plenty of amenities to cater to the entire family. The steam room and the deck area outside the pool room were personal favorites. The restaurant downstairs, Tempo, offered a modern and relaxed atmosphere, with delightful cocktails and coffee. A special shoutout to our waitress Emilie, who provided exceptional customer service with a warm and friendly demeanor. We give this place a five-star rating overall. It truly has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable experience. Thank you!

My wife and I decided to get away for 2 nights at Novotel Geelong as an early "39" wedding anniversary holiday which is December 8th. We were greeted by Josh who I found to have excellent customer service skills. He explained things in a way that made us feel welcome and excited to be there.

Not the fanciest hotel unless you’re on the 7th floor with gorgeous ocean/port views. We had about 8 rooms booked, all at different price points and all very small and pokey. Very clean though & bathroom products were nice. Reception were not very helpful with telling us up front that our keys would deactivate every time we put them near a phone. Then even when they weren’t near a phone, they’d still deactivate. I personally had to go to reception probably 12 times to get new keys over the course of a weekend. Parking around hotel was impossible to find so we paid premium “Valet” parking fee of $40 a night per car, steep!! Hard to find a trolley to bring your stuff up to the room. Even though the entire hotel only has 4 trolleys, they offered no help at reception or a doorman to help you inside with all your luggage. Didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the coffee was good. A/C took forever to crank up and we were scorching in the middle of the day. No shelter from the sun on balcony, so couldn’t stay out there long. Unless you really want to stay right on the water & can handle the heat, find somewhere else that better priced.
