Mantra Quayside is on par with what our experience is for the Mantra brand. The apartments are reasonable size, the beds are comfortable and it's in a very handy spot walkable to many places in the town centre and waterfront. Parking is available free in the secure garages. Staff member at reception was very friendly and helpful. Given the competitive price against comparable properties in the area, it represents good value if you are less interested in being on the water or resort vibes

This was superb Called to make a last minute booking. Couldn’t have been better taken care of by the team. Great service, rooms are modern and very well equipped. On site fully equiped gym, rooftop pool, and BBQ, secure parking, and a trolly to help move luggage (very important with a little one). Centrally located, easy access to Coles Washer / dryer in room Balcony Just great. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in port

Great location, within walking distance to the waterfront, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a kitchen, laundry and large living area with balcony. Definitely recommend.

I just got off the phone with mantra about the keeping of my 200 deposit. They kept ALL of the deposit for to the fact I bled on the sheets. You know cause I'm a woman who was menstruating. There were male cleaners that were cleaning the rooms. I have never ever had this reaction from a hotel or motel before. This is unacceptable. I was also penalised for rolling my own tobacco and some of it fell on the floor. $200 for loose tobacco on the floor and for menstruating on the sheets. This is beyond comprehension. So ladies stress the whole time you stay here if you are menstruating to make sure you don't get any menstrual blood on the towels or the sheets

Bathroom smelt of sewage so we had to close the bathroom door when not in use or it just stunk the room. Also the rooms are above an Indian restaurant, the hallways stink of curry. If you want to sit on the balcony or open a window then do so only if you wish to smell the Indian kitchen below that fills the air with an unpleasant odor. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly, has secure onsite parking which was nice.
