When my dad visited us, we traveled from Melbourne to Sydney to spend a week at the Mantra Parramatta Hotel, booking two rooms.Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. During the check-in process, we were not given clear directions to the correct elevator, resulting in us aimlessly wandering around in search of our room. The staff failed to provide us with proper guidance, which only added to our frustration and wasted a significant amount of our time. Eventually, after inquiring, we were instructed to use the next right-hand side elevator. However, upon reaching our room, we discovered that our key card did not work, necessitating a trip back to reception to obtain a replacement. Finally, when we entered one of the rooms, it was evident that it had been previously occupied and poorly prepared for our arrival. The bathroom contained used towels, and the bedsheets appeared to have been previously used as well. After bringing this to the attention, they provided us another room. Moreover, the housekeeping service was inadequate as we didn't receive proper cleaning or towel replacements, no regular top-ups for essentials throughout our one-week stay. We had to call multiple times just to get towels for showering. Additionally, the customer service staff lacked professionalism, rarely making eye contact and showing little interest in addressing our concerns. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

At the Mantra Parramatta I stayed for one night only. The staff at check-in was very friendly. The room was a bit outdated in my opinion, especially the bathroom and there the shower. The room in general is just another standard room with a kitchenette and has nothing special to offer. I was missing a coffee machine, but at least there was a kettle to prepare some instant coffee. I liked the close location to Parramatta train station.

Upon arrival, we were told they needed a $200 security bond which they actually take out of our bank account and will send back aftecheckout. Girl working on 24/11/23 that was behind the counter was incredibly unprofessional and rude (, management needs to reevaluate who they hire and how they teach their front desk employees as the way the girl who served us was incredibly rude. Room was very mediocre, toilet was running when we came in, bathroom was a little gross to be honest. Hotel hallways smell horrible and you can see stains all over the floor, makes you uncomfortable. Overall would not return to this hotel, this was our first visit and we will not be returning.

Worst service I have ever had. Never book through Mantra even if they were the last place on earth . No one picks up the phone . The management take my money n put me into a comfort suite when I specifically asked for a one bedroom with dryer and washing machine. Then they tell me I can’t get a refund back . I asked them to charge me cancellation fee when apparently there fully booked . Only to tell me that my cancellation fee is the two nights I had paid for upfront. Bunch of unprofessional liars

Really bad hotel. Service is shocking. Stayed 4 nights and asked for my room to be cleaned, bed made and fresh towels three times, but only got a fresh towel on day four. Lights didn't work so reported on first day, was told maintenance would come and was never done. Its unclean and very outdated. Probably one of the worst hotels Ive stayed in. Location is good so aim for other hotels around here.
