We rented a private owned apartment which we have done many times which we love because of the location. Our owner has always been very responsive to our needs, but as for the rest of the mantra it is dirty and run down. Things like the lift and the single entrance door that were broken 2 years ago are still broken! We complained to our apartment owner who Immediately responded and contacted the area manager who said she will get onto a locksmith straightaway. We are still waiting ! The pool area is dirty, the spa and fountain don’t work,( we were told someone would be here to fix it the next day) it is still broken. The pool furniture is old and the BBQ is dirty, rusted and smells. The decking occasionally gets hosed down never actually mopped so when it dries it looks and is dirty

If you're looking to stay short term or a weekend bender in Port Douglas, this is the place. Location is central, clean rooms and walking distance to all the restaurants and pubs.

Rooms are so small that I had to walk sideways to get around it to go to the toilet. Bed was comfy but man they are way to big for that size room. It’s like the little man sin drone. Over complicating. For a $250 a night room they didn’t even have a bottle of water for you. Everything was so basic. Drove around for an hour looking for the place and the only way we did find it was getting out and walking around. Signs are hidden. Building is behind all the shops. The picture they have on the website look like it’s got a grassy area out front but we couldn’t see it until we got out and walked around. Bathroom smelt of mold and when you opened the shower door it was really bad smelling. Definitely would not recommend or go back. So overrated. No lift, have to walk up stairs.

Room would have been great for 2, but the extra bed for our third person was flimsy and uncomfortable. Location is great for access to bars and restaurants and the Sunday market, but there is no escaping the live music from nearby venues if you're looking for a quiet night. Check in was quick and efficient, and we were even able to check-in early. However, there was no one at reception during our comings and goings the rest of the day, so not sure what would have happened had we arrived later.

Very beautiful, clean and convenient location!! The laundry area is very useful for me! Just one cons which is no lift, so you have to carry the luggage and climb the stairs.
