Great friendly staff and service when checking in and out. Rooms were clean and nice and they were able to accommodate my request for the highest room with an airport view if available which was great. Not the easiest to walk to from terminal three with all the work at the domestic terminal but that’s out of the hotels control

What can I say, I’ve never stayed in a more clean, friendly, welcoming hotel in a highly populated area with the comings and goings of people travelling. Front desk staff were happy and also happy to answer questions. I travel with medicine that requires it to be refrigerated along with the ice brick it sits next to needing to be refrozen. There was absolutely no hesitation tagging this and placing it in the fridge and freezer behind the scenes. I’ve never had a hotel do this but I ask every time and usually met with a no. As for the rooms. Fresh, clean and welcoming with everything you could need on a quick visit between flights. Bed was comfortable, great air con and bathroom with roomy walk in shower. Only problem was I arrived off a flight on a really hot day in Sydney and air con wasn’t turned on but that’s a small price to pay for the experience I received. Plenty of food around or use Uber eats for delivery. Easy to walk to the domestic T1 and T2 terminals or a short train ride away from International. I had no problems following signage and wheeling bags to the train. Well worth the stay and price for location.

Very handy location. 20 minutes walk to shopping hub, eateries and supermarket. The staff are amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are very clean and have the most delicious shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and skin lotion. Even though only 5 minutes from domestic airport there is no noise in my room. I stayed in 716. The pillows are huge and the linen is great quality and comfortable to ensure a great night's rest. Absolute value for money! Will stay again for sure. Thank you again to your wonderful staff!

If you need a hotel near Sydney's airport, this place is a great location. If you're flying into or out of the international terminal you'll need to take a taxi or Uber to the hotel - its too far to walk. The hotel offers a shuttle service for $12 AUD each way. T2 and T3 are an easy walk to the hotel as is the airport train station. While you can get the hotel's $12 shuttle to and from T2 and T3 you don't need it. Mantra could earn five stars but cleanliness is lacking. While I found the room acceptably clean for a one night stay, it needed improvement. The trash bins were streaked with stains, the walls were scuffed and the toilet seat was less than pristine. For the price charged its a reasonable single night stay before or after a flight.

The rooms are nice, although the desk is very narrow and built-in so it is difficult to use a laptop. The room was clean enough, but showed signs in the bathroom that it hadn't been scrubbed/deep cleaned in a while. That said it was more of an aesthetic thing rather can a concern of it being 'dirty'. The service is luke-warm. The staff were polite enough but if you compare to a place like the Pullman where they smile and put effort into making you feel welcome, you'll find here the service is a bit cooler. The food at restaurant was very tasty, the chicken I had was perfectly cooked and it was a good sized portion. A mixed bag with service, not bad by any means but just not as warm and inviting as other places. The only real complaint was that I was randomly charged $20 for a shuttle that I didn't book or use. I understand that admin errors happen but I never mentioned the word shuttle, I had a rental car so had no need. I'm sure I'll get the money back but it's just another thing I have to deal with.
