a week agoHad a terrible experience with customer service. Booked online and brought a gift card to pay for the booking once we got there. Host said it was already paid for, asked about it again when checking out and got told it was sorted only to get a phone call asking us for money later and refusing to let us use the gift card. Will never come back if this is what you get

5 months agoExcellent location, friendly staff and decently spacious rooms. Parking was pretty annoying to get set up, and disappointed there was a cost to this. Aside from this, no complaints about the room interiors and cleanliness. Affordable compared to other options in the area.

4 months agoThe only good thing about this hotel is that it is right in the Centre of the City so is walking distance from restaurants/supermarkets etc. However, our room floors were wet (with dirty water) when we came in and my daughter slipped on the floor as soon as we entered the room. The room itself looked like it had not been cleaned at all and the carpets etc was very stained. The furniture is all very old and the showers had mould on it. Our dishwasher was not working so we had to hand wash dishes. The Mantra website says that it is a 'serviced apartment' - what they fail to mention is that it is a self service accomodation which means that for the 5 days we stayed there, there was no room cleaning service so the sheets were not changed, rubbish was not removed etc. If you want any towels/dishwashing liquid/clothes washing liquid or even toilet paper then you have to go down to reception and get it from there. Our room had a phone but no instructions on how to contact the reception and the phone was not marked with a button etc for reception. There are so many accomodation options in Brisbane including the Westin which we could see from our room and I am honestly disappointed that I chose this option since the price range for this hotel is on par which much much better accomodation options. If I could give this hotel no stars or even negative stars, I would.

4 months agoBeen to mantra midtown for a holiday Very good location. Right in the heart of the city. Everything is available right at the door step. Less than 100 mts from queen st mall. Entrance to the hotel is not at all flashy but the apartments are well decorated and clean and fresh. They have only apartments and some of them are being operated by air bnb I think and there are also permanent owners of some apartments. Customer service is excellent . They are happy to take care of all your requests and also rectify any flaws in the facilities provided . My room didn’t have good wifi connection but melody and kan (from reception ) gave me a special wifi stick so I could have better wifi connection . Lighting in the room was very dim and they gave us extra lamps to make sure we had enough lighting in the room. Parking facility was good but at $35 per day ( overpriced ) They were happy to store our luggage after checkout for a few hours so we could come back later and collect it. Overall would recommend the hotel to everyone.

a month agoGreat location in heart of Brisbanes CBD. Was well priced and perfect for the three night business trip. Has kitchenette and Woolworths is just around the corner. They don’t have restaurant so happily cooked breakfasts in the mornings.
