I stayed in a one bedroom Apartment. Top floor, outstanding views. The room was good for Mantra offerings. The hotel in general is good but not luxury. Walls are a little thin, if you have noisy neighbors. The one improvement that could be made is a mid stay room service (I had 7 nights). But overall, good value and a boomer of a location! Hervey Bay is one of my favorite places.

Not knowing Hervey Bay I probably wouldn’t choose to stay at the marina again (that’s our fault however). The room was dark, very dark. We were on ground floor and had a room opening directly into the pool area. That would probably be good in summertime I gather however the balcony was small. The disappointing thing for me and the reason for my score was the cleanliness of the dishes in the kitchenette. I wanted a coffee, the mug was dirty and had to be cleaned. I needed a teaspoon, it was dirty and needed cleaning. We wanted to use plates for breakfast, one plate was dirty. I gather the last person staying literally rinsed their items under a tap and put them away in a hurry. However, it wasn’t pleasant encountering dirty items. The bedroom and other areas were clean so no issue with that. It’s hard for staff to be held accountable for the dirty dishes which had already been put away I think by the previous occupant, but unfortunately that brings my score down. We ate at a lovely restaurant on the Marina and there were approx 3-4 restaurant close by to choose from. Great place to leave for the whale watching if that is why you are in town.

Quick visit to Hervey Bay. The mantra was right on the dock and 2 minutes walk to the boat club. Our sunset tour left from the dock 2 mins away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was neat and tidy with a spa. The balcony overlooked the bay with magnificent views.

Overpriced and run down with no room service for even a weeks stay. Rooms are tired and run down looking. For the price you pay to not even get fresh sheets or towels is disgusting. I shouldn't have to wash them myself that's why I'm on holidays. Pool area is nice but pool is very cold. Overall wouldn't recommend this place to stay. Not good value for money
