Mantra French Quarter Noosa

This hotel is at the better end of Hastings street, especially for food, drinks and the beach. The shared amenities, being the pool and spa seem to be relatively clean given the use it gets although its starting the get tired....that's about as good as it gets. The front staff while friendly, terrible at explaining the car park situation or how to get the gate open. Our room apparently a deluxe room. Upon entry, it stunk like bleach. The bathroom was bigger than the kitchen and living room put together. You thought that would be great but the kitchen was not clean at all and while there was a washer and dryer facilities they where filthy. The kitchen while they had cooking facilities, there was no chopping board or oil. It had a dishwasher but no cleaning powder, that was at extra cost. I purchased our room as the photos suggest the courtyard is gated, no it was in fact the pool gate. The only table was outside, so with a toddler there is no rest, you are constantly following your child to the pool area. And finally it is just way too small, if you sit on the lounge to watch TV, the TV is shorter than arm distance away. We where also constantly moving our suitcases from floor to bed, bed to floor as there was just no room. While my daughter loved it, for me I would rather spend that little bit more for similar location, cleaner and more room.

Location great, pool for the kids is great but the rooms are in desperate need of an update but that’s not really a problem. The Cleanliness of our room was nothing short of shocking…there was hair from the previous occupants in master shower, black mould in the second shower, we are a family of 5 and were told the fold out couch was made up, but when we unfolded it all we were met with was a heavily stained mattress protector. We informed the staff and they said they would send someone up to make it but that never happened.I hate sounding like a whinger and I’ve given 3 stars because one of the staff was very apologetic and sympathetic to our stay and I’ve dealt with, hair, mould and general dirty rooms before but not at $880 a night. The rooms are absolutely disgusting! I have no idea what there cleaners do. But it sure isn’t cleaning these rooms🤮 it smells and it’s just honestly filthy in here. I’m here for 3 nights with my family and I’m on my second night and I honestly can’t wait to leave. The only good thing about this place is the location and pool. But other then that, absolutely appalling, I’m so disappointed!

Great place for families. Pool hood for kids although got very busy. I felt the room needed a good deep clean. Our lounge was filthy. White stains and dirt all over the beaver lounge. So dirty I put towels down to sit on it. Ewww.

Perfect location. Pool is great for kids and adults. Only criticism is that the Bedroom window coverings don’t block out the light well so isn’t very dark at night. Would recommend for families.
