The hotel's location was ideal, and the staff members were notably friendly and eager to assist throughout my stay. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was initially impressed with the appearance of the newly renovated room. The room size was adequate, and the bed offered a comfortable night's sleep, which is always a crucial aspect of any hotel stay. However, my positive first impressions took a hit when I encountered an unfortunate issue with the bathroom. It became apparent that the newly renovated rooms had a significant flaw - the bathroom lacked proper drainage. Consequently, after each shower, the bathroom would flood, leaving the room feeling persistently damp and humid. The high humidity made it challenging for the air conditioner to maintain a comfortable environment within the room. This issue was brought to the attention of the hotel staff, and it seemed that they were well aware of the problem. Unfortunately, they were unable to offer a satisfactory solution, which was quite disappointing. It is concerning that the constant flooding may lead to further damage to the building, necessitating additional renovations in the future. On a more positive note, the staff's responsiveness and friendliness were commendable, and they did their best to address other minor concerns during my stay. The hotel's location was also a plus, providing convenient access to the attractions and amenities of Airlie Beach.

The people are good! Absolutely world class. The surrounds like the pool and deck are fantastic. The rooms are terrible, this is the refurbished rooms. The mirror on the wall in the main room allows people to walk by and see in your room. You have no choice but to drag your bag up stairs. The shower fills with water that floods out when you open the door and the door is hinged on the wrong side. Nowhere to hang the soap. The beds are hard.

We stayed for 6 nights. I would only stay a max 2 nights here. Beds are SO hard and uncomfy. Rooms are outdated and old. The location isn’t great, too far from the middle of town. The only good thing was the staff, they were all lovely. Felt like we were catfished by photos online, disappointed when we saw what it really was. Rooms are never freshened up, no clean towels, had to take own rubbish out yourself. Okay for a 2 night stay but no longer. Might be better after renovations.

Club Croc. Unfortunately, we visited during renovations which led to loud mornings and mess around the hotel. The room was "freshly renovated" which was ocean themed. There was ocean decorations hung up on the wall, the room smelled like the sea (like a fish market), the bathroom flooded due to poor drainage and awkward door placement. Apart from the room, I have to give the staff a great review. Especially David at the bar/kitchen who served our holiday guests with impeccable service. He created this amazing jug menu for happy hour which I believe should be a permanent fixture in the bar. David is the absolute GOAT. The food was SUPER nice, especially the arancini with the truffle sauce. Breakfast buffet was just standard but with the occasional amazing hot meal item. My favourite was the bacon and pancakes. Passionfruit cocktail jugs with friends by the pool will be missed.

The staff are friendly and attempt to accommodate any issues that arise. As for the room the bed was the only comfy part to the room. No service is provided on the room unless you stay 8 days so you have to go get your own fresh towels and take your own rubbish out to stop your room from smelling. Room had a funny smell upon arrival and I was offed room spray to go spray it myself. The shower door opened at the wrong angle making it difficult to enter the shower and water leaked everywhere. Also unless your on the 2nd floor be prepared to cart your suitcase up flights of stairs to get to you room.
