2 months agoMembership not applied to booking, despite my contacting the hotel days earlier. Blamed me for their mistake. Room is certainly not Mantra standard, certainly not 4 star. Old, dirty, mouldy. Fire alarm blared just after check in, receptionist seemed frozen and untrained to handle the emergency. High pitched whine at midnight carried on for 20 minutes, on and off… once again the receptionist failed to provide any meaningful action. Claims to have investigated and found nothing - yet he never came to the room. Didn’t understand what earplugs were nor why I would want them. Absolutely disgusting experience for this platinum member.

3 months ago4 star accommodation with bathrooms full of mould!! After being disgusted by our first room we asked to move. Our next room was better but the bathroom still had mould in the shower. See photos…..I don’t think I was being fussy. Management didn’t seem to care - “take it or leave it” was basically their attitude when I said the 2nd room also had mould. The replacement room was missing its washing machine making the dryer useless for our multi night stay. Highly recommend you go elsewhere. I’d expect better from a 2 or 3star budget hotel!

3 months agoLove staying here. Location is just right next to the station. U can spend one whole day here for shopping and food. Convenient to the city only 25mins train. Kids love the swimming pool, gym, and rooms are spacious and clear, even we stayed in 2nd floor but quiet you can't really hear the car on the road. Check in easy and night time they lock the front door u need room key to access into the apartment which is feel more secure. Definitely good for budget and easy to access to local and city area. Will definitely stay here next time visit in Sydney

4 weeks agoEverything was nice except for there was a drug smell on the first night I stayed. I went downstairs to ask the staff to check it out but no one handled it. I then wrote a complaint and still no response. They should just find the complaint email and deal with it instead of wanting me to call.

3 months agoWe stayed at the Mantra with a party of 14 people. It was the WORST experience we have EVER had with accomodation for our business. We arrived at 5pm to find that many of our rooms were not clean, with rubbish in them! Beds were not made and housekeeping had left for the day. We ended up having to make our own beds and put rubbish out. The Hotel also missed out 2 of our rooms that we had booked so we had to bunk people together in the same room to fit everyone in. And int he end ended over charging us by mistake. We were offered a refund but over a month later this has not happened. Will be following up with the relevant authourities on this. Absolutely terrible.
