This hotel is very well located especially if you need to be near the hospital. We usually stay here when visiting the Art Gallery & other attractions. The only let down is the size of the rooms, they are compact. The bed is comfortable & the bathroom while small is adequate. We love having breakfast there as they are always very tasty & well priced. The front of house staff are always very professional and helpful. Definitely will be returning

Stayed here several times on our trips. Standard room is very modern, comfortable but small. Bigger rooms are excellent. Great staff, modern quirky hotel with modern artwork throughout, really good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Easy parking although not under cover

We booked directly with the hotel for a wheelchair accessible room, although the bathroom was excellent and accessible (a small lip at the door entry) this was at the expense of the room size. My partner in a manual wheelchair could really only move in one direction of the main room/bedroom/coffee making area, we pushed the bed over against the wall so he could fit down the side to be able to get into bed, there was no room for him to access coffee facilities located at the end of the bed end as it was just to tight of a fit in a manual wheelchair. I had to climb over him if I need to move past him with us both in the room,We were disappointed with the accessible room. The email we recieved indicated that 'standard' rooms had a balcony when questioned if we could be moved to a bigger accessible room we were told they were all the same size and none had balconies.. indicating that people who need to use accessible rooms must not be worthy of being able to see a view or use a balcony. A tight squeeze..

Along with my brothers and their partners, I stayed for 3 nights while our mother was in the ICU at Bendigo Hospital. We chopped and changed our bookings every day and the staff were always co-operative and understanding. The spacious, light and well planned ground floor dining area and cafe became our de facto meeting room and we always felt comfortable being there. Breakfasts and coffee at the hotel were also very good and extremely convenient. The rooms were well appointed, clean, cool and comfortable, just what we needed. Overall a very positive experience at a difficult time. Thank you.

We booked for a Friday and Saturday night, on a busy weekend, which the price reflected. For what we paid however, I expected a reasonable room. What we got was tiny. Like literally could not swing a cat. The bed was good and the shower was great. Due to a family issue, we couldn't check in Friday night. My wife tried to call to notify but just went to answering machine. When we checked in Saturday morning, we were told our reservation was cancelled when we didn't check in the night before. Luckily, no one snapped it up in the meantime so we still got our room. The gym was very basic. Stretching to call it a gym. We came in late on the Saturday night and had to use the overflow carpark. The ticket we were given Sunday morning didn't work to let us out. Breakfast at the cafe was reasonably priced, but a bit of a shambles. Our drinks came twice, while our food took forever, and the eggs Benedict was very watery. I think they forgot the meal and tried to rush it out when they realised.
