Hotel is in a good location. Pleasant courteous staff. However, it’s knocked around and tired! TV didn’t work on one of three days on our floor level. Reception feels like a bank entrance. No ventilation in the bathroom. Limited kitchen utensils. Air conditioning barely works.

Car park was too small tbh and pricely compare to wilson parking, but room is clean and there’s no noise problem at all. The reception is nice, I did a check in at night like around 9-10pm, well done!

The service of this hotel is not really good, 2 days ago I try to get in after going out at night, when come inside the hotel the reception is close, that is fine. However the problem is I have lost my card and ask them to assist me to get into the hotel. So I rang the number on the google page and then the guy who answerd told me if you lost your card come back next day morning at 8.00 am. I felt this is a joke, I know I lost it but it was not by purposely so this hotel should have a system if such thing happen back up plan to get their customers to get inside the hotel by opening the doors remotely from anywhere. It was cold night and I had no choice and I went hunting or another hotel while I am paying for this hotel. So I came next day morning and inform about this to reception lady. So just yesterday Another issue , this hotel key card for enter is also not working properly after coming back to hotel at 1 am. So I called again and the guy who answered yell at me saying YOU LISTEN TO ME. I keep telling so many time I did the way you asked me to slide the card to the machine to enter but it didn't work. But he keep saying it should work, finally I have to get someone on the road to assist me and talk to him then he realize it is not working, then he told me that I have to let other guy to go so he could help me, And I told him you should have listen to me at the first place when I told you the issue but you just argue on the call. So he told me you need my help or not, This is not how he should talk to the customer. He hang up the phone as he was sleepy i guess. So I swap many times and i got lucky to goinside the hotel, then what the next issue, elevator not working , no matter how many time you swap it is not reading so I can not go to my room as that is the only way to go up. So I kept doing same thing 100 times to get my luck. then after I was able to go and sleep. This is not the right service which I known for Mercure hotel... now I will hate to use this company service... they can't keep up their standard. There was nothing wrong with the room. but the service I received when I am in trouble is so bad. So I do not recommend this hotel at Mercure Therry street Melbourne.

Bad rooms. Patched bad painted rooms. Just passable. Not worth the Mercure Brand. Only exception was the Guy Named Usman. He was very polite friendly and knew what hospitality and guest service is all amout. Very good guy. Else no positive point in the hotel. Location is awesome. I stayed in room 911.

Stayed in a studio apartment. It came with a kitchenette, which was very useful. Room size was very generous, and the location was very convenient. A few drawbacks. I could hear the neighbours walking around in their rooms; floor board creaking? It was loud enough to wake me up at 4 AM. Also noise from outside was quite loud and starts early with the first tram in the morning (probably comes from the hustle and bustle of the city, but I like to sleep in until 7 AM).
